Corporate structure
 
Signing of the contract between SPX and LIOFSPX Shutdown & Project eXperts started operating in September 1999 as a wholy subsidiary of SPEI Holding BV, a joint venture between participation banker NV Industriebank LIOF and privately owned Shutdown & Project Experts International BV.

SPX is an initiative born as an "spin-out" from DSM Engineering Stamicarbon BV the licensing arm of DSM NV one of the biggest chemical manufacturing companies in Western Europe.

SPX employs more than 25 well trained, experienced and self propelling professional associates. They all have at least 10 years hands on project know-how, and ample helicopter view to familiarise and response rapidly to any plant improvement mission.
 
Office Structure
The Front Office is responsible for managing all projects and it liases with the clients, from acquisition, proposal, project execution, quality control through after care services.

The Back Office concentrates all secondary business functions.
